Refund & Return Policy

This Refund & Return Policy applies to all return gift products, catering bookings, and event management services provided by Inemai.

A. RETURN GIFTS (Products)

1. Returns & Replacements

We accept returns only under the following conditions:

  • Damaged product received

  • Wrong item delivered

  • Manufacturing defect

To request a return or replacement, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos or video proof.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Used products

  • Customised or personalised bulk orders

  • Items without original packaging

  • Products damaged due to misuse

2. Refunds for Product Orders

Refunds are issued to the original payment method after the returned product is verified.

Processing time: 5–7 working days.

Shipping charges are refundable only if the error is on our side.

3. Exchanges

If stock is available, we will arrange a replacement for damaged or incorrect items.

If not, a refund will be processed.

B. CATERING & EVENT BOOKINGS

1. Cancellation by Customer

Refund percentages depend on how early the cancellation is made:

  • More than 14 days before the event: 80% refundable

  • 7–14 days before the event: 50% refundable

  • Less than 7 days before the event: Non-refundable

This is because manpower, raw materials, and scheduling are allocated in advance.

2. Cancellation by Inemai

If Inemai cancels a booking due to unavoidable circumstances (operational issues, weather conditions, vendor disruptions), customers will receive a 100% refund.

3. Event Modifications

Any changes in the following may affect the final billing:

  • Menu

  • Guest count

  • Venue access conditions

  • Timing adjustments

  • Additional service requirements

C. Non-Refundable Conditions

Refunds are not provided for:

  • Change of mind after delivery

  • Incorrect address provided by the customer

  • Customer unavailability at the time of delivery

  • Special pricing or bulk-discounted personalised items

D. Refund Processing Time

  • Product refunds: 5–7 business days

  • Catering/event refunds: 7–10 business days

  • Bank or gateway delays are outside our control

E. Jurisdiction (Legal Clause)

All disputes, refund-related claims, or legal proceedings arising from product orders, catering services, or event bookings shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

This ensures all legal matters are handled only in Chennai courts, providing clarity and consistency.
